Free festival of street dance and other performance art for children and young people: Beach Lawns, Weston-super-Mare
Funk It Up groups will be performing on the main stage on Saturday 11th from 2.30 to 2.45. Dancers are encouraged to attend the whole event that day, starting with a Streetfest dance warm-up at 10am, and including other workshops through the day – especially the Nemesis Workshop at 12 noon.
Dancers should meet up by the accreditation area (to the side of the main stage) at 1.15 to collect wristbands (for backstage access) and to rehearse. They should go backstage at 2.15 ready to perform.
Streetfest 2010 promises to be even bigger than in 2009 and a great weekend for dancers and dance lovers!!

As always, the Showcase will be a great opportunity to perform with your group to an audience of family and friends alongside all the other Funk It Up groups, including the Summer School dancers.
Dancers should arrive at 6.30 for a brief rehearsal before the show at 7.30.
There will be a small charge for members of the audience (to cover venue costs): adults £3 / children under 15 £1
